Our Finished Music Video
From our first draft, me and Ramtin knew that we had to change some parts of our music video. We changed one shot of the castle and put in a shot of the car park, we felt the castle shot was a bit out of place and replaced it with a shot from the car park. We also adjusted the colour correction to make sure the night shots were more visible as before they were to dark and hard to see.
This now means we have finished our music video, and we are both happy with the final outcome and believe it is good enough for us to gain the grade we need.

The Making Of..... Colour Correction.
Here is a video of the colour correction we used and how to do it.
Magazine Advert Speed Art.
Ramtin filmed his computer screen when he was doing a draft version the magazine advert, then fast forwarded it, to show you in detail how we made it.

Magazine Advert Finished.
As well as finishing the digipack, we also finished the magazine advert, we used two different images for the digipack and magazine advert to show more variety, and to make the digipak more unique for the people who buy it.
After analyzing 2 magazine adverts we saw all of the conventions of a magazine advert, the featured song, the artist, the date of release, the artist's website and the record company. We added all these and made sure that it all fitted and kept the same colour theme throughout. I personally really like the advert, with the bright lights with the night sky looks really good!
The Making Of...... Magazine Advert.
Here is a step by step guide to how we produced the magazine advert in Photoshop.
This first image is our original image just de-saturated to make it look dark and gloomy, as we took the photo at day, we had to make it look like it was at night, and by de-saturating it it's the first step to making it look like it's at night.
In this second picture we added some colour to the picture, as at night there is still colour so we did that to make it more realistic. We also added the lights, again to make it more realistic, and it also looks really good next to the sky.

The next step was to add all the information to the advert, the name of the artist, the date of release, the ways of getting the album, the artist's website and the record label logo. These are all things which are usually seen on a magazine advert. Despite all this information you will notice that the name of the song is currently not on the magazine advert, but that comes onto the advert in the next step. We also added in the MTV logo next to the record label, we did this as we had it on the music video and it would be a good idea to have on the advert. We also included a picture of the digipak, so people know what the digipak will look like when it is released.
Now the name of the song is is visible, it was my idea to have a cloud appear from the artist's head, to appear he is day dreaming because it is a theme of the song. This is the last step in the making of the magazine advert. A separate post will be up in a few minuets of the finished magazine advert on it's own.
