Here is the first draft of our music video. We and our teachers think it came out well, and only needs little adjustments and tweaks. We are both happy with how the idea of splitting the screen into two with one half day and the other half night and how effective it works.
Despite the great feedback I believe that there are still things we have to correct. I believe the major correction we have to make is the amount of visibility of the night shots and the lack of it, to correct this we will have to readjust the colour correction so that you can see me (the artist) clearer, but still keep the nice colours that the colour correction brings. Another thing I believe we have to change is the shot at 12 seconds, this shot of the Windsor castle seems out of place in the music video, as it is not similar to the other urban locations we have, a castle also doesn't fit into characteristics of hip-hop. So for that reason I believe we have to remove it. After all this is completed, our music video will be completed, and when it is I will upload it to my blog, so stay tuned.
