Kid Cudi | Man on The Moon : The End of Day.

Kanye West | 808's & Heartbreak.
From analyzing these two digipak's I have learnt several things which are evident on a hip-hop genre digipak. Each digipak has there own colour scheme, and it is clear to see on each of these that it is followed throughout, this is seen clearly on Kanye West's digipak, 808's & Heartbreak. On both of the digipaks their are two exclusive pictures of the artist, one's taken especially for the digipak, this gives the buyer that feel that he is buying something never seen before. In both of the digipak's their is allot more information about production than a normal album, again adding to the feeling of the buyer that they get more than just the music, which is the whole point of a digipak. Both digipak's have a theme to them and connotes their own unique experience, Kid Cudi's digipak shows him being in his own world and distanced from everyone else, whilst Kanye West gives the impression that he is lonely and he is trying to find a partner.
